La Timida Flor

Writer: Pedro MoralesPedro Morales

Qué tal si alguien me ve, Que dirán

The image of a flower, Her colors were opaque, Gray, Her petals… Closed, Hidden, Sad…

Her heart was covered by bent petals, Her stem … Dehydrated, soft, colorless, Her leaves … Down.

Some Day a cloud approaches her and asks to open her leaves. Let them show their beauty, The flower looks at her doubtfully

“NO”, Is Not correct, I do not feel comfortable. What if someone sees me, What they will say…

The cloud drops some rain drops on her, Refreshing her, The flower feels good, Clean, Released.

In a small drop of water she can see her reflected image. Noting the brightness hidden in one of her eyes, The cloud encourages her to open,

To expand its petals and share them with the world,

But the flower did not believed in the beauty of her form, Or the purity of her soul, Deciding that is not the time to do it ..

The cloud is often visiting her, Talking to her, sharing her love for life, And her energy, Always leaving it wet, Fresh, Rested.

One day the flower looked forward to the visit of the cloud. She was excited… Every time the cloud visited her, she help her feeling better, Beautiful, The flower was learning how important was to see life with love.

Upon arriving the cloud sprinkles its delicate liquid. How are you feeling this morning?, Cheerful and comfortable answer the flower. The rain asks her to observe her reflection closely. Did you notice that after spraying you, your petals opened completely? Did you notice that your figure is completely exposed? Nothing is covering it, Without sorrows or regrets,

Watch your nature shine in the simplicity of life, See how you share with the world the brightness of your colors

the magnificence of your petals The opening of your being … The flower see herself reflected on a drop of water

Realizes that the image that she saw before incomplete perhaps even ugly had become beautiful, large, colorful,

She realized that she was herself, Same person, The only change was the way she saw herself.

Thank you beautiful Flower for sharing your beauty!
